The story takes place in medieval Italy, where the beautiful Lady Althea of Sardi (Joyce Taylor) travels with her father to neighboring Duchy of Allena to marry the handsome Duke Eduardo (Mark Damon). But unbeknownst to Lady Althea, Eduardo has come under the spell of a curse that turns him into a beast at night, and he asks to postpone the marriage while he tries to unlock the secret of the wicked spell. Suspicious, Lady Althea soon discovers for herself the horrible curse her beloved is under, but ultimately it is her love for him that will free him forever.
